Powerful Carrot Turmeric Smoothie Recipe
This carrot-based Turmeric Ginger Smoothie is made with fresh ginger, turmeric powder, and oranges, it is vegan and naturally sweetened. Ready in just a few minutes and packed with many vitamins.
CARROTS: They're rich in beta-carotene, a compound your body changes into vitamin A, which helps keep your eyes healthy. And beta-carotene helps protect your eyes from the sun and lowers your chances of cataracts and other eye problems.

ORANGES: Oranges are a good source of several vitamins and minerals, especially vitamin C, thiamine, folate, and potassium.
TURMERIC + Black Pepper: Turmeric and black pepper each have health benefits, due to the compounds curcumin and piperine. As piperine enhances curcumin absorption in the body by up to 2,000%, combining the spices magnifies their effects. They may reduce inflammation and improve digestion, particularly in supplement form.

INGREDIENTS (You'll get 2 glasses of Smoothie)
- Juice of 3 medium-sized whole carrots.
- 3 peeled oranges
- 1 inch of fresh ginger
- 1/2 unsweetened coconut water
- 1/2 teaspoon of Natural Florida Turmeric Powder
- a pinch of black pepper
- 1/2 a teaspoon of coconut oil
Place all ingredients in the blender, turn the machine on and slowly increase the speed until it is fully blended. If you think that it is too thick, add in a splash of coconut water and blend until it is to your liking.
If you want to make it sweeter you can do a few things:
- Use pineapples instead of oranges
- Add in a splash of maple syrup or a few pitted dates and blend until smooth.
